Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We prove a general version of the “Stability Theorem”: if <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> K K </inline-formula> is a valued field such that the ramification theoretical defect is trivial for all of its finite extensions, and if <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> F | K F|K </inline-formula> is a finitely generated (transcendental) extension of valued fields for which equality holds in the Abhyankar inequality, then the defect is also trivial for all finite extensions of <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> F F </inline-formula> . This theorem is applied to eliminate ramification in such valued function fields. It has applications to local uniformization and to the model theory of valued fields in positive characteristic.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
