Les réseaux d’assainissement constituent un patrimoine important qui nécessite une gestion à long terme dans le cadre d’une politique intégrée qui tient compte de l’état des tronçons, de leur environnement et de contraintes budgétaires fortes. Dans cette perspective, une connaissance du patrimoine est nécessaire, à travers la mise en place d’inventaires permettant de collecter des données liées au patrimoine et à son environnement. Dans le cadre de cet article, le patrimoine étudié sera constitué de tronçons d’assainissement non visitables (diamètre inférieur à 1200 mm) pour lesquels un inventaire a été effectué et des données sont disponibles. L’état des tronçons peut être évalué à partir de données d’inspections télévisuelles (ITV) réalisées par caméras robotisées. Ces inspections permettent de décrire l’état des tronçons d’assainissement, mais ne permettent pas de hiérarchiser les tronçons, ni de prendre des décisions de réhabilitation ou de renouvellement. À cet effet, nous proposons d’utiliser la méthodologie développée dans le cadre du projet Français Réhabilitation des réseaux d’assainissement urbains, RERAU (2000–2004), qui propose de mesurer à partir des défauts constatés par ITV des densités de dysfonctionnement. À partir de ces dysfonctionnements, nous utilisons la méthode multicritère Electre-tri pour la mise en place d’une procédure d’affectation des tronçons en catégories selon leur état de détérioration. L’étude a été réalisée sur un échantillon de tronçons d’assainissement en Alsace, France. L’article décrit la mise en place de la démarche et présente les principaux résultats.
