Abstract
Nous sommes confrontés aujourd’hui à l’apparition des formes interactives (jeux vidéo, hypertextes de fiction, oeuvres combinatoires) qui participent d’une narrativité manifeste, mais remettent profondément en cause les horizons d’attente et les habitudes interprétatives généralement déployés face aux récits. Devant ce bouleversement, plusieurs théoriciens ont proposé d’opposer radicalement interactivité et narrativité, comme on opposerait l’expérience à sa représentation. Tout en reconnaissant le caractère opératoire d’une telle position, nous voulons articuler ici la distinction entre formes narratives et formes interactives en dépassant l’antagonisme simple. Depuis l’angle de la sémiotique du récit, nous reconsidérons la critique récente des nouveaux médias, réexaminons les notions d’interactivité, de simulation et de monde fictionnel et tentons de réunir action représentée, action simulée et action interprétative au sein d’une même pratique : la lecture.
