Abstract

Dans la littérature consacrée aux associations évoquées par les mots le substantifamioccupe une place de choix. En effet on l’a souvent utilisé dans une optique comparatiste dans le but de montrer les différences et similitudes entre l’image mentale véhiculée dans les différentes langues. Dans cette étude nous allons analyser comment cette image a évolué en français durant les quinze dernières années. Pour cela nous allons utiliser les données des différents dictionnaires d’associations évoquées par les mots disponibles pour le français, créés à partir de questionnaires depuis 2007. Nous utiliserons tant les données issues des dictionnaires directs que celles des dictionnaires inverses, pour la France, la Belgique, la Suisse et le Canada sur une période allant de 2007 à 2020.
