Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es explorar los elementos clave del capital humano y la innovación en el sector salud por medio de la revisión sistemática de literatura y el análisis cienciométrico. Los resultados muestran que el tema se agrupa en conjuntos afines como el recurso humano, la organización y la administración, las vinculaciones y el entorno económico. Asimismo, hay evidencia de un incremento de la temática. En los indicadores destaca la Universidad de Toronto, el artículo científico como documento más común, las áreas de las ciencias sociales y medicina y Estados Unidos. El análisis se limitó a dos bases de datos. Para futuras investigaciones, se sugiere la ampliación del estudio a un mayor número de bases de datos. Los resultados implican una agenda de trabajo para la política empresarial y un área de oportunidad para los empresarios. Este trabajo es novedoso por las técnicas metodológicas y porque aporta valor al estado del arte. Se concluye que el recurso humano representa la fuente más importante de conocimientos organizacionales y la fuente más valiosa de innovación en el sector salud.
