Quelles que soient les époques, les sociétés se construisent autour et par des mouvements oscillant entre préservation et développement, les conduisant à des modifications majeures de leur fonctionnement pour faire face aux impacts sociaux, démographiques, culturels et économiques qui en résultent. La mise en place de réformes institutionnelles parfois profondes rend observables ces mouvements, contraignant les acteurs à vivre, traduire, interpréter et incorporer ces mutations par des ajustements, des transitions ou des transformations de leurs pratiques professionnelles et sociales. Ce numéro se donne l’objectif de réunir un ensemble de contributions autour des changements institutionnels au regard de l’évolution d’une variété de contextes d’enseignement et de formation (Belgique, Canada, France, Italie, Suisse) à l’intérieur desquels et par lesquels les processus de traduction prennent place. Travaillant les articulations entre logiques individuelles et collectives, et analysant de plus près les processus de traduction et des transactions qui les accompagnent, les contributions permettent de saisir les effets de ces changements à la fois sur les significations et les conceptions du travail, mais également sur les pratiques professionnelles et sociales qui structurent les rapports entretenus entre acteurs et objets de leur traduction. Whatever the era, societies are built around and by movements that oscillate between preservation and development, leading them to major changes in their functioning in order to cope with the resulting social, demographic, cultural and economic impacts. The implementation of sometimes profound institutional reforms makes these movements observable, forcing actors to live, translate, interpret and incorporate these changes through adjustments, transitions or transformations in their professional and social practices. The aim of this issue is to bring together a set of contributions on institutional changes in relation to the evolution of a variety of education and training contexts (Belgium, Canada, France, Italy, Switzerland) within and through which translation processes take place. Working on the articulation between individual and collective logics and analysing more closely the processes of translation and the transactions that accompany them, the contributions will make it possible to grasp the effects of these changes both on the meanings and conceptions of work, but also on the professional and social practices that structure the relationships between the actors and objects of their translation.
