Abstract

Rumah merupakan bangunan yang ditempati dalam waktu tertentu. Namun terdapat beberapa kelalaian yang dapat terjadi di rumah misalkan pemakaian listri yang berlebihan karena lampu atau perangkat listrik lain, keadaan pintu, tabung gas yang bocor tidak terdeteksi, suhu dan kelembaban. Pemanfaatan teknologi internet of things dimaksudkan untuk menjadi pengontrol dan memonitor rumah untuk membantu pemilik rumah dalam menjaga rumah yang ditempati. Simulasi ini menerapkan teknologi internet of things dengan merancang prototype model rumah dari bahan kardus dimana menggunakan mikrokontroller NodeMCU ESP8266, penggunaan sensor DHT-11, MC-38, dan MQ-02 serta relay. Dari sisi aplikasi proses singkronisasi dan penyimpanan data menggunakan database cloud dengan Firebase yang memiliki fitur notifikasi dan real-time. Aplikasi android pada penelitian ini digunakan untuk kontrol dan monitoring. Hasil pengujian dalam penerapan konsep teknologi internet of things yang menguji sensor DHT-11, sensor dapat bekerja dalam membaca suhu dan kelembapan yang menyajikan peningkatan suhu dan penurunan kadar kelembapan. Pengujian dilakukan dalam rentang waktu 5 menit. Sensor MC-38 dapat mendeteksi pergerakan pintu dengan delay 1,8 detik. Sensor MQ -2 melakukan pendeteksian kebocoran gas yang berjarak 1cm dalam rentang 4 detik. Sementara itu, untuk relay diperlukan waktu rata-rata 2,5 detik sampai relay dapat menjalankan fungsinya.
