Favoriser l’alignement pédagogique lors d’une migration en formation à distance: Une Démarche SoTL

Abstract
Avant la pandémie de COVID-19, l’équipe programme d’un certificat universitaire de premier cycle en santé en sécurité du travail a entamé une migration en formation à distance touchant l’ensemble des cours. L’approche visait entre autres, à répondre à la diversité et aux besoins des cohortes estudiantines en formation continue. Les activités d’intégration, particulièrement l’activité pédagogique INT110, posaient certains défis : divers enjeux (ex. absentéisme, démotivation, désengagement et faible taux de réussite) étaient rapportés par la professeure responsable. Une démarche de Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) a été menée pour réfléchir et documenter ces enjeux, améliorer les pratiques pédagogiques et l’apprentissage des personnes étudiantes. La démarche SoTL comporte six phases itératives: l’analyse, l’appropriation, la conception, l’implantation, l’évaluation et la diffusion. La phase d’analyse a mis en lumière des enjeux liés à l’alignement pédagogique. L’approche expérientielle et l’apprentissage par projet ont été retenus. L’activité pédagogique a été entièrement revue dans la phase de conception pour en maximiser l’alignement pédagogique en s’appuyant sur des cadres théoriques reconnus qui ont été explorés lors de la phase d’appropriation. L’activité pédagogique a été recentrée autour de la planification d’une intervention en entreprise. L’implantation du nouveau projet d’apprentissage s’est faite en deux temps (2020 et 2021). La phase d’évaluation a été reportée au printemps 2022. L’analyse préliminaire des résultats obtenus laisse présager des retombées positives de l'innovation pédagogique mise en œuvre.
