Abstract
Los textos escritos a lo largo del tiempo han sido sinónimo de complejidad para la mayoríá de individuos y más aún en el proceso que se requiere para su producción. Aunque existen modelos establecidos por diferentes teóricos para llevar a cabo la redacción de textos, pocas veces se ha demostrado el interés por implementar agentes motivantes que lo guıé n y faciliten. El objetivo de la investigación fue utilizar la música como herramienta pedagógica para la producción de textos narrativos, con el fin de fortalecer la competencia comunicativa. Además, la investigación que se llevó́ a cabo, es de tipo cualitativo con un diseñó de investigación acción educativa, que permite diseñar y aplicar una herramienta pedagógica como la música para la producción de textos narrativos en estudiantes de grado séptimo de los colegios Luis Carlos Galán de Vado Real, Escuela Industrial de Oiba y el Instituto Técnico Carlos Ardila García. Una vez evaluados los resultados obtenidos en cuanto a producción textual, teniendo en cuenta los componentes semántico, pragmático y sintáctico se pudo evidenciar que los estudiantes de los tres colegios presentaron un desempeño superior, una vez implementada la música como herramienta pedagógica, concluyendo la eficiencia de la estrategia para este tipo de procesos comunicativos
