Limbah plastik merupakan limbah yang sangat sulit terurai, hal ini seringkali menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan. Limbah plastik tersebut mempunyai berat yang ringan dan tidak mudah berubah bentuk. Ada banyak jenis plastik dari polyethylene, Salah satunya adalah PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate). Pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis plastik PET (Polytethylene Terephthalate) dengan ukuran lebar 3mm dan panjang 5mm dengan benda uji terdiri dari 80 silinder, pengujian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan kuat tekan pada umur 7, 14, 21 dan 28 hari. Perencaan adukan beton menggunakan metode SK SNI 2384-2000 dan mutu beton yang direncanakan sebesar 14,53MPa. Hasil penelitian ini pada beton campuran PET (Polytethylene Terephthalate) dengan 60 sampel dengan variasi persentase PET (Polytethylene Terephthalate) 0,7%, 0,85% dan 1,0%. Kuat tekan tertinggi tercatat pada persentase PET 0,7% pada masa 28 hari dengan nilai sebesar 16,05 MPa dan kuat tekan terendah pada persentase PET 1,0% pada masa 28 hari dengan nilai sebesar 11,67 MPa. Kuat tekan semakin menurun dengan bertambahnya variasi plastik sebab bentuk permukaan batu plastik yang licin tidak mampu mengikat semen, ringannya plastik berpengaruh pada berat beton yang terus berkurang seiring banyaknya plastik didalam dan berkurangnya agregat batu Petangis. Berdasarkan hasil, maka penambahan PET terhadap kuat tekan beton tidak memiliki pengaruh yang baik
