Abstract

Pengujian penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sifat jaringan seluler di wilayah Kecamatan Seulimeum Aceh Besar, dengan melakukan penelitian pengukuran berdasarkan sinyal jaringan provider Telkomsel, Tri, dan XL Axiata dengan analisis Quality of Service (QoS) dengan mencakup estimasi batas throughput, delay, dan jitter menggunakan aplikasi nPerf. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metodologi pendekatan survei lapangan untuk menentukan area dengan kapasitas untuk berfungsi sebagai situs pengamatan yang ditunjuk untuk memantau kecepatan, keandalan, dan integritas konektivitas internet. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kualitas yang dihasilkan throughput secara keseluruhan di wilayah Kecamatan Seulimeum Aceh Besar, yaitu dengan rata-rata 67.90 Mbps, menunjukan bahwa kualitas throughput termasuk kedalam indeks 4 dan kategori sangat bagus menurut standar TIPHON. Kualitas yang dihasilkan delay secara keseluruhan di wilayah Kecamatan Seulimeum Aceh Besar, yaitu dengan rata-rata 110 ms, menunjukan bahwa kualitas delay termasuk kedalam indeks 4 dan kategori sangat bagus menurut standar TIPHON. Dan kualitas yang dihasilkan jitter secara keseluruhan di wilayah Kecamatan Seulimeum Aceh Besar, yaitu dengan rata-rata 182 ms, menunjukan bahwa kualitas jitter termasuk kedalam indeks 2 dan kategori sedang menurut standar TIPHON. Jika di tinjau analisis secara keseluruhan Quality of Service pada ketiga provider di wilayah Kecamatan Seulimeum Aceh Besar, termasuk kedalam indeks 3 dan kategori memuaskan menurut standar TIPHON.
