La pandémie du SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) de l’année 2020 a porté un grand changement dans tous les domaines de nos vies et bien sûr aussi dans notre système éducatif, qui a été obligé de mettre en oeuvre la formation à distance à tous les niveaux de façon urgente et précipitée afin d’assurer le droit à l’éducation à une époque où la présence à l’école est impensable pour des raisons de santé et de sécurité. Nous présentons ensuite une étude à ce sujet, en pleine polémique sur l’opportunité de poursuivre ou non cette approche pendant cette année scolaire. Nous partons de la mise en oeuvre de ce genre de formation dans notre pays et à l’étranger pour tenir compte de ses avantages et contraintes en cas d’application générale de cette approche. Nous avons décidé d’argumenter sur la base de nombreuses études dont les recherches sont bien plus avancées que les nôtres et sur l’expérience d’institutions spécialiées en formation à distance telles que le CNED ou l’Université Laval. Nous nous sommes toujours efforcés de ne pas perdre de vue la situation actuelle afin de rendre cette étude le plus utile possible et d’obtenir des conclusions les plus detaillées et exactes.
