Abstract
يستخدم مؤشر جودة المياه على نطاق واسع لتقييم مواصفات المياه الفيزيائية والكيميائية والبيولوجية ومجالات استخدامها، ويتطلب تقييم نوعية المياه جمع وتحليل كم كبير من البيانات من المصدر المائي مكانياً وزمانياً. وقد تم تطوير عدداً من مؤشرات الجودة التي تصف كمياً برقم وحيد بدون واحدة نوعية المياه السطحية أو الجوفية وتتضمن العوامل الهامة التي تدخل في حساب المؤشر. تم في هذا البحث استخدام مؤشر الجودة الكندي Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment WQI (CCME QWI) في تقييم العوامل التي تحدد جودة مياه بحيرة سد الباسل في طرطوس لأغراض الشرب. حيث أخذت نتائج التحاليل المخبرية لعينات مأخوذة من وسط البحيرة للعوامل التالية: درجة الحرارة C°، درجة الحموضة pH، الناقلية الكهربائية Con.، الأكسجين المنحل DO، القساوة الكلية TH، الأمونيوم NH4+، النتريت NO2-، النترات NO3-، الفوسفات PO4-3، الكلوريد Cl-، الكبريتات SO4-2، الطلب البيوكيميائي للأوكسجين BOD، بالإضافة إلى عصيات الكولي فورم Fecal Coliform Bacteria (FCB) وحسب مؤشر الجودة لهاعلى أساس سنوي. بينت النتائج أن البحيرة تتعرض إلى تلوث جرثومي يؤثر بشكل كبير جداً على تصنيف نوعية مياه البحيرة ويضعها في المجال سيء، ومع استبعاد تأثير التلوث الجرثومي تبين أن معدل جودة المياه بين الجيد والمقبول. وتبين أن عدد العوامل التي تتجاوز الحدود المسموحة إلى العدد الكلي للعوامل (F1) ترتبط بقوة بمؤشر جودة المياه وبمعامل ارتباط 0.95، بينما كان معامل ارتباط نسبة القياسات التي تتجاوز الحدود المسموحة لجميع العوامل إلى العدد الكلي للقياسات (F2) يبلغ 0.89، أما بالنسبة للمدى الذي تتجاوز فيه القياسات الحدود المسموحة (F3) كان معامل الارتباط لها 0.79. وتشكل العكارة والأوكسجين المنحل والطلب الحيوي للأوكسجين، والفوسفات العوامل التي تؤثر بشكل هام في قيمة مؤشر جودة المياه ويجب أخذها بالاعتبار عند وضع الحلول الهندسية لحماية بحيرة سد الباسل من التلوث.
