Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado tiene como objetivo modelizar estadísticamente los resultados en el fútbol profesional a partir de indicadores de rotación de equipos, centrándose en cómo las decisiones relacionadas con las alineaciones y las sustituciones influyen en el desenlace de los partidos. Para ello, se ha recopilado y procesado un conjunto de datos detallado de la Primera División española entre las temporadas 2019 y 2024, excluyendo partidos de equipos con presupuestos extremos y primeras jornadas sin historial previo suficiente. El estudio comienza con un analisis descriptivo de las variables objetivo (resultado del partido y goles de cada equipo) y de variables explicativas relacionadas con las rotaciones. A continuacion, se implementan y comparan distintos modelos predictivos: regresión de Poisson, regresión logística multinomial (con y sin regularizacion mediante glmnet), y el algoritmo XGBoost, tanto en versiones de regresión como de clasificación directa. Los resultados muestran que, los modelos mas simples, como la regresión de Poisson, proporcionan un rendimiento aceptable, aunque con ciertas limitaciones. En cambio, al aplicar métodos como la regresion multinomial, la regresión regularizada con glmnet o la clasificación directa con XGBoost, se ha conseguido una mejora significativa en la precisión, alcanzando niveles de accuracy por encima del 48 %. Estos enfoques permiten capturar mejor la complejidad del problema y ofrecen resultados mas competitivos. Este trabajo aporta evidencia empírica sobre el valor de incluir indicadores de rotación en los modelos estadísticos de predicción deportiva, y destaca el potencial de la estadística aplicada para mejorar la toma de decisiones en contextos competitivos.
