La presente tesis parte de la afirmación de que dentro de la propuesta filosófica de Byung-Chul Han es posible encontrar un entramado ético que complementa directamente los postulados políticos y sociales que este autor propone a lo largo de sus obras. Dicha lectura ética está compuesta por una variedad de análisis e interpretaciones sobre Occidente a partir de lo que él refiere como “Lejano Oriente”, que son los múltiples autores del Asia Oriental con los que Han contrasta con el pensamiento occidental con el fin de generar aportes teórico-conceptuales que enriquezcan su interpretación de la realidad y sus postulados filosóficos. Para afirmar dicha tesis el presente trabajo se divide en cuatro momentos: el primero tiene por objetivo delimitar conceptualmente el concepto de sociedad del rendimiento en la obra de Byung-Chul Han. En seguida, se exponen los elementos que constituyen el concepto de revolución del tiempo. En la tercera parte, se presentan los postulados filosóficos del pensamiento del Lejano Oriente de los que el autor parte para poder hablar de una salida al control sistémico neoliberal. Finalmente, se habla del concepto de ética del jardín, que no pertenece a Han, pero que es propuesto acá para completar el aparato teórico haniano, de modo que sea posible dilucidar con mayor claridad cómo la propuesta de Han puede ser entendida como un proyecto emancipatorio que se ubica en las prácticas cotidianas del ser humano para poder entablar, posteriormente, una revolución que supere al capitalismo.
