Noninvasive liposuction is a rapidly growing industry, with 75 000 procedures done in the United States in 2012 and total expenditures estimated at $84 million (1). Various technologies are used to perform noninvasive liposuction, including radiofrequency ablation, cryotherapy, high-intensity focused ultrasonography, and low-level laser therapy (2). All of these technologies are described as having minimal complication rates. Objective: To report what we believe is the first case of severe hypertriglyceridemia induced by noninvasive liposuction.Case Report: We had been ...References1.
