Phosphoprotein profiling by Kinetworks™ analysis of M-phase-arrested HeLa cells by nocodazole treatment revealed that a novel mitosis-specific phosphorylation event occurred in the nucleolar protein B23/nucleophosmin at a conserved Ser-4 residue.
