In contrast, the chemical variations observed in phosphates have been more rarely used as a tool for evaluating the degree of fractionation of pegmatites or their potential links to granites and/or anatectic events. In those cases the Fe/(Fe+Mn) ratio of primary phosphates has been taken into account in order to establish the fractionation degree of the hosting pegmatite, with this value decreasing with differentiation (e.g., Ginsburg 1960, Keller et al. 1994, Roda...
