Résumé
Rivâyetler okuyucusuna vermek istediği asıl mesajın yanında, ortaya çıktığı toplumun dinamiklerini, birikimlerini, etkileşimlerini, kültürel unsurlarını yansıtan izler taşımaktadır. Hadis kitabetine müteallik rivâyetler yazı yazmak için kullanılan malzemelerle ilgili önemli ayrıntılar içermektedir. Konuyla ilgili rivâyetlerin anlamlandırılmasında büyük kolaylıklar sağlayan bu malzemeler, kendi içerisinde sistemli bir literatür oluşturabilecek mahiyettedir. Yazı yazmak için kullanılan unsurlar fiziki özellikleri, yaygın olarak kullanıldıkları zaman aralıkları ve hangi etkileşimler sonucunda kullanıldıkları yönüyle araştırılabilmektedir. Arapların kullandıkları yazı malzemelerini geniş bir şekilde tahlil etmek kitâbetle ilgili rivâyetlerde ifade edilmeyen hususları tespit etmek gibi önemli bir katkı sunmaktadır. Ayrıca bu literatür kitâbetle ilgili haberlerin tarihsel arka plana uygunluğunu ortaya koyarak ilgili rivâyetlerin değerlendirilmesine imkân vermektedir. Yazı malzemelerinin varlığı ve kullanımına dair tespitler, hadislerin erken dönemlerde yazıya geçirilmesi meselesine de ışık tutmaktadır. Arap yazı kültürünün kitâbeti mümkün kılan unsurlara ne zaman ve ne oranda sahip olduğu bu alandaki çalışmalarla ortaya çıkmaktadır. The goals of the narrations are to convey the main message to its readers, but also carry traces that reflect the dynamics, experiences, interactions, and cultural elements of the society in which they emerged. The narrations related to the hadith inscription contain curicial details about the materials used for writing. These materials, which provide a great convenience in the interpretation of the narrations, are, by themselves, sufficient for forming systematic literature. Elements used for writing can be researched in terms of their physical properties, the time intervals in which they are commonly used, and as a result of which interactions they are used. Analyzing the writing materials used by the Arabs provides an important contribution to determining the issues that are not expressed in the narrations about ḥadīt̲h̲ scripture. In addition, this literature allows the evaluation of the related narrations by revealing the compatibility of the news about the hadith scripture with the historical background. Findings on the existence and use of writing materials also shed light on the issue of writing down ḥadīt̲h̲s in the early periods. The studies in this field reveal when and to what extent the Arabic writing culture had the elements that made the ḥadīt̲h̲ scripture possible.
