An International Conference on Advances in Materials, Mechanics, Mechatronics and Manufacturing (IC4M2021) was held during March 06-07, 2021 virtually under the umbrella of Yajurvedam: an Association for Educational Empowerment and Social Welfare and M/S Gayatri Auto Industries with the vision for professional excellence and quality research by providing the platform to exchange thoughts and ideas to innovate and transform the world in the esteemed association of Birmingham University UK, Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering, Indian Institute of Welding (India), Additive Manufacturing Society of India, Maharajpura Industrial Association (Gwalior), Canadian Centre for Inter Academic Research and Communication, Computer Society of India (Gwalior Local Chapter), and The Institutions of Engineers (Gwalior Local Chapter). It is well known that technological advancements have made our learning continuous even when the entire world is facing unexpected circumstances. It is high time for engineers and technocrats to think, innovate and contribute to technological advancements. Technological advancements at an exceptional rate could only take place by exchanging thoughts, ideas, innovations, problems, real-time solutions to the problems and technologies. IC4M2021 has provided such platform to researchers, academicians, and industrialists. It has focused to fetch the attention of industry and academia on the understanding of indulgence of four ‘M’s’ Materials, Mechanics, Mechatronics and Manufacturing and their interdisciplinary approach in the technological advancement. It has kindled the validated discussions on the technological advancements, recent trends, various issues of sustainability, and the solutions adopted to address these issues in the amalgamating field of Engineering, Technology & Science by embodying innovative ideas and pivoting advanced technologies. Emphasis was attributed to the recent developments in the field of Materials, Mechanics, Mechatronics, and Manufacturing. It has been proven as a catalyst for researchers, academicians, and industrialists in the field of these 4 M’s by igniting the spark of research and innovation by providing the platform in such adverse conditions. The conference was made stimulating and informative both by five plenary keynote speeches by the pioneers of their field from the different corners of the world. In this wonderful array of invited talks Dr. Nageswara Rao Posinasetti, Professor, University of Northern Iowa, USA delivered his talk on Introduction to Circular Economy, Dr. V. K. Jain, Professor (Retired), Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, INDIA delivered the talk on Micromachining: An Overview, Dr. Rohan Shirwaiker, Associate Professor, N C State University, USA, and Associate Director, Functional Tissue Engineering Program, Comparative Medicine Institute (CMI), USA, delivered the talk on Manufacturing of Tissues and Organs, Dr. Raghu Echempati, Professor, Kettering University, USA, enlightened the gathering on Study of Light Weight Materials and their Applications and Dr. Anjali Awasthi, Professor & Concordia University Research Chair (Tier-II), Concordia University, Montreal, CANADA, delivered her talk on Industry 4.0 and Digital Supply Chain Management. The organizing committee addresses the thanks to esteemed associates of the conference, eminent speakers, the members of the technical committee, session chairs, reviewers, participants, and all the members who have supported the conference. Editors, International Advisory Committee, National Advisory Committee, Conference Chair, Technical Chair, Technical Co-chair (Manufacturing), Technical Co-chair (Mechatronics), Technical Co-chair (Mechanics & Design), Technical Co-chair (Materials), Coordinator, Organizing Secretary, Host, Member, International Collaboration Co-chair, National Collaboration Co-chair, Online Platform Management Co-chair, Keynote Speakers, Session Chairs, Paper Review Committee, Organizers and Associates are available in the pdf
