The hoverflies of the Dauzet collection at the Musée des Confluences in Lyon (Diptera, Syrphidae)
Notice bibliographique
Résumé
The hoverfly Dauzet includes 1725 hoverfly records from 221 species. 1302 of these are backed by specimens in the Musée des Confluences, Lyon, and 423 by cards handwritten by Maurice Dauzet. [Version 1 did not include the data from cards] These specimens were colleted by Maurice Dauzet (1927-2021) from 1980 to 2017, mainly in Loire and Haute-Loire departments, France. Data from these specimens are presented here, with date of capture, and location details. The collection is hosted at the Musée des Confluences, Lyon (contact : Harold Labrique Harold.Labrique[at]museedesconfluences.fr). Data in Darwin core: CSV format, UTF-8, compatibe with GBIF system. Beware of apostrophes (') in some locality names or comments, as these may be misinterpreted by R statistical system. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) 4.0 Licence.
