Résumé
Carinogalumna meridaensis sp. nov. (Figure 4) Type material. Holotype (female) and six paratypes (two males and four females): Western Venezuela, Merida State, 2300 m a.s.l., 10 km E Tabay, sweeping in cloud forest, 28.IV.1981 (L. Masner and Marsh). The holotype is deposited in the collection of the Canadian National Collection, Ottawa, Canada; six paratypes are in the collection of the Tyumen State University Museum of Zoology, Tyumen, Russia. All specimens are preserved in 70% solution of ethanol with a drop of glycerol. Diagnosis. Body length 1275–1425. Body surface densely microgranulate; prodorsum, subcapitular mentum and lateral part of epimeres I, II foveolate. Rostrum pointed, with two lateral teeth. Lamellar line curving backwards at ventral end; sublamellar line absent. Rostral, lamellar, interlamellar, and bothridial setae long, setiform, barbed; in longest, ro shortest. Dorsosejugal porose area present. Dorsosejugal suture absent. Octotaxic system represented by three pairs of rounded porose areas; Aa located between lm than to la, closer to lm. Median pore absent. Opisthonotal gland opening and lyrifissure im located anterolaterally to A2 and distanced from it. Epimeral setal formula 3–1–3–3; setae 1a, 1c, 2a, 3a, 4b represented by alveoli, 1b, 3b, 3c, 4c longer than others. Circumpedal carina medium-sized, directed to insertion of 3b. Anogenital setae comparatively short. Adanal lyrifissure parallel or slightly oblique to the middle of anal plate and slightly distanced from it. Postanal porose area absent. Leg famulus bent mediodistally, directed forwards, inserted between seta ft” and solenidion ω 2; solenidion on tibia IV inserted in anterior dorsal half of the segment. Description. Measurements. Body length 1410 (holotype), 1275–1290 (male paratypes), 1350–1425 (female paratypes); notogaster width 1095 (holotype), 915–930 (male paratypes), 915–1095 (female paratypes). Integument. Body color dark brown to black. Body surface densely microgranulate. Additionally, prodorsum (except basal part), subcapitular mentum, anogenital region, lateral part of epimeres I, II foveolate (diameter of foveola up to 13) but foveolae poorly observable in anogenital region. Prodorsum. Rostrum pointed, with two lateral teeth. Lamellar line distinctly thickened, curving backwards at ventral end; sublamellar line absent. Rostral (139–157), lamellar (243–262), interlamellar (319–337), and bothridial (169–187) setae setiform, barbed; insertion of lamellar seta inserted close to lamellar line; exobothridial seta not observable. Dorsosejugal porose area oval (32–41 × 7–11). Dorsophragma slightly elongate longitudinally. Notogaster.Dorsosejugal suture weak, interrupted medially.Lenticulus absent but indistinct light zone observable in some specimens. Ten pairs of notogastral setae represented by setal alveoli. Octotaxic system represented by three pairs (Aa, A2, A3) of rounded porose areas (26–37); Aa located between la and lm, closer to lm. Median pore absent. Opisthonotal gland opening and all lyrifissures distinct: gla and im located anterolaterally to A2 and distanced from it; ip posterolateral to A3; ih and ips close to each other, anteromedially to p 3. Gnathosoma. Similar to Sacculogalumna zuliaensis except sizes. Subcapitulum size 300–319 × 270–285; subcapitular (a 56–64, m 86–94, h 86–94) and adoral (34–47) setae setiform, barbed. Chelicera length 375–390; cheliceral setae (cha 131–135, chb 82–86) setiform, barbed. Palp length 213–221; setation 0-2-1-3-9(+ω); postpalpal seta (11) spiniform, smooth. Epimeral and lateral podosomal regions. Epimeral setal formula 3-1-3-3; setae 1a, 1c, 2a, 3a, 4b represented by alveoli but some of them sometimes reduced completely, others (1b, 3b, 3c, 4c 112–116, 4a 94–101) setiform, slightly barbed. Circumpedal carina medium-sized, directed to insertion of 3b. Anogenital region. Anogenital setal formula 6-1-2-3; genital (g 1, g 2 56–60, g 3 – g 6 41–52), aggenital (45–49), anal (64–67), and adanal (45–49) setae setiform, slightly barbed; anterior edge of genital plate with three setae; aggenital seta located posterolateral to genital aperture; adanal setae ad 1 and ad 2 posterior, ad 3 lateral to anal plate; distance ad 1 – ad 2 shorter than ad 2 – ad 3. Adanal lyrifissure parallel or slightly oblique to the middle of anal plate and slightly distanced from it. Postanal porose area absent. Ovipositor typical for Galumnidae (Ermilov 2010), with length 555; length of blade 180; length of distal section (beyond middle fold) 405; ovipositor width 75; each of the three blades with four smooth setae: ψ 1 ≈ τ 1 (112) rod-like; ψ 2 ≈ τ a ≈ τ b ≈ τ c (64) thinly thorn-like; six coronal setae (7) spiniform. Legs. Similar to Sacculogalumna zuliaensis. Remarks. Carinogalumna meridaensis sp. nov. differs from all species of the genus by the presence of the foveolate ornamentation on the prodorsum, subcapitular mentum, lateral part of epimeres I, II, and in the anogenital region. Etymology. The species name meridaensis refers to the place of origin, Merida State.
