La vallée de l’Oronte, lieu de passage depuis toujours, a été l’objet de prospections ces dernières années, entre autres canadiennes. Comme partout au Levant, la période achéménide n’est guère représentée (p. 31), malgré l‘importance et la richesse de cette région à cette époque. La clef de ce problème est, me semble-t-il, herméneutique et non encore résolue.
