Abstract
The article is devoted to comparative issues of banking regulation in Canada and Russia, studied the current situation in the banking sector, analyzed the legal framework and infrastructure, with emphasis on the differences between the two systems and approaches to regulation. Made several proposals to improve legislation in Russia.
