Zmienność komponentu upadłościowego marży wskutek zachwiania stabilności finansowej WprowadzenieJednym z najważniejszych wyzwań dla współczesnej bankowości jest adekwatna wycena ryzyka generowanego przez stronę aktywną bilansu banku.Silny związek ponoszonego ryzyka z dochodem, będącym rekompensatą za nie, jest gwarancją stabilności instytucji finansowej oraz zgodności zasad jej funkcjonowania z normami nadzorczymi.Prawidłowa wycena ryzyka musi być poprzedzona jego identyfikacją w odniesieniu do każdego instrumentu finansowego.Istotna jest również odpowiedź na pytanie odnośnie wyceny nie przyszłego (ex ante), ale już funkcjonującego zaangażowania (wycena ex post), co sprowadza się do kwestii porównania rynkowej ceny ryzyka (marży) z teoretyczną wyceną ryzyk składowych.Niniejszy artykuł stawia sobie za cel identyfikację czynników określających poziom marży w świetle najnowszych teorii oraz uporządkowanie teorii marży poprzez zaklasyfikowanie poszczególnych koncepcji do jednej z następujących zaproponowanych kategorii: model strukturalny, uproszczony, hybrydowy i rynkowy oraz weryfikację podejść teoretycznych w kontekście kryzysu finansowego na rynku amerykańskim.Analizie poddano zmienność i strukturę marży obligacji korporacyjnych na rynku amerykańskim, a także przyczyny ich wzrostu na tle kwotowań amerykańskich papierów skarbowych.Powyższe badanie ukierunkowane jest na uzyskanie odpowiedzi na pytanie dotyczące zasadności wykorzystywania w teorii i praktyce wyników uzyskanych przez zastosowanie teoretycznych modeli wyceny i dekompozycji marży w warunkach niestabilności finansowej.Innymi słowy przedmiotem badania jest weryfikacja, na ile struktura marży (a właściwie wartość i udział komponentu upadłościowego) w okresie niestabilności finansowej korespondują z wnioskami na temat dekompozycji marży sformułowanymi na podstawie danych z okresu stabilności.Niestabilność finansowa utożsamiana jest z zakłóceniami w zakresie realizacji przez rynki finansowe ich podstawowych funkcji, takich jak: zapewnienie przepływu środków między uczestnikami rynku w sensie optymalizacji zastosowania kapitału, prawidłowa wycena instrumentów finansowych oraz bezpieczny i sprawny przebieg płatności.Wybór rynku amerykańskiego wynika z trzech powodów
