Abstract
En terminos generales, por “accion afirmativa” se entiende las medidas positivas que se adoptan para aumentar la representacion de las mujeres y las minorias en las areas de empleo y educacion, de las que han sido historicamente excluido(a)s. Cuando esas medidas implican seleccion preferencial –seleccion sobre la base de genero u origen etnico– la accion afirmativa genera gran controversia (Warnke 1998)1.
