This article aims to analyze the Canadian experience of gender examination of legal acts. The conclusions are made about success of this experience for providing equal opportunities for men and women in realization of their constitutional laws and freedoms. It is offered to legislate against obligation of gender mainstreaming by carrying out legal examination of legal acts.
