Abstract
Le développement local pourrait bientôt être déclaré en crise si les retombées tant anticipées par ses propagateurs tardent encore à venir. Nous préférons parler de renouvellement que d’une crise paradigmatique. De renouvellement car des pratiques locales novatrices sont en émergence, lesquelles donnent à la nouvelle cuvée du développement local un potentiel reformateur indéniable. Ce renouvellement, nous en explorons les fondements tout en indiquant clairement ses limites si l’invitation lancée par ses nouveaux leaders ne devient pas une innovation incontournable. Le projet local est un des éléments de construction et de réponse aux défis lancés par le mondialité.
