Abstract
Cet article s’appuie sur une étude comparative (France-Italie) des logiques d’intermédiation et de médiation qui sous-tendent l’usage des catégories de l’immigration dans des espaces de régulation de branche (le bâtiment). Ce travail montre comment les acteurs professionnels et politiques construisent territorialement les catégories de l’action publique et dans quels cas ils se saisissent de catégories qui ciblent explicitement la main-d’œuvre immigrée. Il s’agit donc d’aborder la question du ciblage des publics à l’articulation du secteur de l’emploi et de celui de l’immigration.
