Cet article s'interesse aux differences concernant le genre de l'eleve, les ressources materielles des familles et les resultats scolaires des adolescents selon les differentes structures familiales etudiees. L'etude a ete menee au Quebec aupres de 363 eleves inscrits en premiere et en deuxieme annee du secondaire. Les adolescents de meres monoparentales obtiennent de meilleurs resultats scolaires que ceux de peres monoparentaux. Les garcons de familles non traditionnelles semblent defavorises sur le plan des resultats scolaires et de la quantite de ressources materielles disponibles. Des etudes sur les liens entre les transitions familiales et la reussite scolaire a l'adolescence doivent etre poursuivies.
