Abstract
Cet article offre un bref panorama sur les recherches économiques se rapportant à l’étude et la conservation de la biodiversité. Il aborde successivement les diverses manières de définir la biodiversité, l’évaluation des contributions de la biodiversité à l’économie et l’analyse des politiques de conservation. Il insiste ce faisant sur le rôle que devrait jouer l’analyse économique dans l’élaboration et la mise en oeuvre des politiques publiques.
