Abstract
En este trabajo se aborda el tema de la regulacion, materia clasica en economia publica aunque siempre haya recibido mucha menor atencion que los ingresos o gastos publicos, con el fin de fomentar el debate en torno a las estrategias mas adecuadas de reforma de la regulacion. Dichas reformas estructurales permiten generar inequivocas ganancias, tanto desde el punto de vista de la eficiencia, como desde el punto de vista de la transparencia en los procesos redistributivos. Las aportaciones que se realizan en este trabajo son tres. Por una parte, se realiza una sistematizacion de los diferentes informes y literatura existentes sobre el tema. Por otra parte, se dota de razonamiento economico a los mismos. Por ultimo, se evalua la situacion espanola al respecto, y en comparacion con los principales paises de la OCDE
