Abstract
Realisee par des chercheurs de l'Universite de Sherbrook au Quebec (Canada), une etude a demontre pour la premiere fois la presence de pesticides associee a des aliments genetiquement modifies (GM) dans le sang de femmes enceintes, de fœtus et de femmes non enceintes. Detectes dans des prelevements sanguins de femmes habitant la ville de Sherbrook, les pesticides et leurs residus trouves sont des herbicides a base de glyphosate ou de glufosinate et de proteines insecticides Cry1Ab. Or, comme le souligne l'association Inf'OGM, ces femmes et leurs maris n'ayant jamais travaille au contact de tels produits, le regime alimentaire, decrit comme « typique d'une zone industrialisee du Canada », apparait comme la principale voie de contamination.
