Abstract
El objetivo del estudio que aqui se presenta fue realizar un analisis preliminar de como el profesorado de musica estaba viviendo la implantacion de la Reforma educativa en Quebec y de como esta habia incidido en su practica docente. Para ello se realizaron entrevistas con siete profesoras seleccionadas mediante un muestreo intencional. En general, surgio como tematica principal la percepcion del cambio fundamental de los roles del alumno y del profesor. Se senalaron tambien los cambios surgidos en el modelo pedagogico, basado en el desarrollo de competencias tanto disciplinares como transversales Las principales dificultades encontradas se refirieron sobre todo a aspectos estructurales y organizativos como la evaluacion, las pocas horas semanales atribuidas a la ensenanza de la musica, y la carga lectiva semanal del profesorado
