Abstract
Ce mémoire parle de la musique populaire. Et il parle de ceux et celles qui la font. Il parle des artistes québécois qui travaillent dans la variété française. Pourtant dans ce mémoire les artistes québécois ne joueront pas uniquement leur rôle de musiciens et de vedettes de la chanson. Ils seront aussi des objets d’une communication interculturelle. \nLe point de départ pour ce mémoire sera la perception des artistes québécois par leurs fans français. \nJ’aborderai la communication entre artistes québécois et leurs fans français et les conséquences de cette communication pour l’image des Québécois et du Québec. \nCe mémoire est écrit autour de l'hypothèse suivante: « Est-ce que les artistes québécois en France sont capables d’inciter leur public français à en savoir plus sur le Québec ? Comment fonctionne cette médiation musicale des cultures ? »
