Abstract
Este ensayo propone que las estructuras discursivas diaspóricas de lo que Paul Gilroy ha \nllamado “el Atlántico negro” están provocando un replanteamiento tanto de los estudios \ncanadienses como de los estudios culturales y del lugar de la nación dentro de ellos. Se \nanaliza la producción literaria, crítica y teórica de autores/as canadienses negros/as y se \nsubrayan los desafíos que aquella plantea a las nociones tradicionales de identidad racial y \nnacional, concluyendo que este tipo de trabajos fronterizos tiende a redefinir, más que a \nabandonar, la categoría de “nación.”
