Sin embargo, la obra de Peveroni incluye una defi nici?n a?n m?s amplia del concepto de crisis en comparaci?n con dichas teor?as. En El Hueco la crisis no corresponde s?lo a un per?odo de desarrollo en una cro nolog?a temporal, sino que m?s bien debe ser vista como la problem?tica de ciclos de comportamiento que ocurren en un tiempo lineal. La crisis constante del Uru guay resulta evidente en la acci?n dram?tica de El Hueco de varias maneras: el escenario y la financiaci?n, la reconstrucci?n de la violencia y el g?nero musical del under (hip-hop).
