Abstract
excavaciones arqueologicas en medio del San Lorenzo, en la Isla de los Vascos (Quebec). Descubre objetos confirmando que hubo una presencia vasca desde el s. XVI. En la parte baja del rio, todos consideran este descubrimiento como una confirmacion de lo que cuentan, desde hace mucho tiempo, los relatos de tradicion oral: los pescadores vascos estaban presentes cuando se fundo la villa. Hoy en dia, estos objetos estan expuestos en un centro de interpretacion que linda con un fronton y un restaurante. Este Parc de l?Aventure Basque en Amerique du Nord (Parque de la Aventura Vasca en America del Norte) ha sido inaugurado el 13 de julio de 1996. Este articulo estudia a lo que han sido expuestos estos objetos al ser trasladados de la isla hacia el museo. ?Como estos artefactos se han erigido en marcadores de identidad de toda una region, que no tiene otra referencia de la cultura vasca mas que un mito tenaz y esta isla, a seis kilometros de las costas?
