Recessie in de bouw? Aan gemeenten zal het niet liggen. Er is een gestage stroom van nieuwe gemeentehuizen. Om er een paar te noemen: Almelo, Bergen, Berkelland, Dalfsen, Den Helder, Hardenberg, Lansingerland, Leiderdorp, Leudal, Middelharnis, Midden-Delfland, Nieuwegein, Overbetuwe, Westland, Neder-Betuwe, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Weert, Zevenaar, en Zulte. Deze lijst is het resultaat van een kwartiertje googelen en dus verre van compleet. De meeste van deze gemeentehuizen worden momenteel ontworpen of gebouwd of zijn net opgeleverd. In een enkel geval gaat het nog om de locatiekeuze en of wordt nog getwijfeld tussen verbouw of nieuwbouw. Niet bouwen, toch altijd nog de meest duurzame en veruit voordeligste keuze, lijkt in de meeste gevallen geen optie.
