Abstract
Les expériences d’intégration de l’Art Brut dans les institutions culturelles se sont multipliées ces dernières années. On constate certains effets liés à la juxtaposition de l’Art Brut et de l’art contemporain dans un même espace d’exposition. Si le processus du « cross-over » artistique peut parfois favoriser une individualisation des œuvres par leur esthétisation, au-delà des catégories auxquelles elles appartiennent, dans d’autres cas, le rôle croissant des commissaires d’exposition dans le discours et la mise en scène de ces expositions peut aboutir également à un phénomène paradoxal d’« exposition sans artistes ». Cette dissolution des frontières artistiques peut parfois aboutir à un effacement de l’identité des artistes brut et outsider.
