Abstract
espanolAl comienzo de Suplicantes de Esquilo, el coro de las Danaides alude brevemente al mito de Tereo y Procne. El texto, sintacticamente ambiguo, ha sido interpretado de diferentes maneras. Nuestra propuesta se basa en un meticuloso analisis de metis, palabra clave del pasaje, que sirve de punto de comparacion para ambas historias miticas, el crimen de las hijas de Danao y el de la mujer de Tereo. EnglishAt the beginning of Aeschylus' Supplices, the choir of Danaids alludes briefly to the Tereus and Procne's myth. The text, ambiguous syntactically, has been interpreted in different ways. Our proposal bases on a meticulous analysis of metis, key word of the passage, that compares both mythic stories, the crime of Danaus' daughters and that of Tereus' wife.
