Abstract
Le présent article1 vise à présenter une partie des résultats d’une recherche dont l’objectif général est de valider les prédicteurs de l’engagement et de la persévérance d’étudiants évoluant dans un programme innovant de formation médicale prédoctorale à l’Université de Sherbrooke (Canada). Dans le cadre de cet article, il est plus précisément question d’explorer le développement de leur posture intellectuelle selon l’approche de Perry (1970, 1981). Pour ce faire, des données ont été colligées par questionnaire auprès de 288 étudiants et de 12 étudiants parmi ceux-ci lors de groupes de discussion. Il apparaît que les étudiants ont une posture plutôt relativiste, et ce, quel que soit l’année de formation. Cela nous permet de penser que les étudiants sélectionnés par le programme ont un profil plus relativiste dès le début de la formation qui n’est que renforcé par les dispositions du programme.
