Abstract
BAKGRUND:\nLäsning är viktigt, inte bara i skolan utan också i övriga samhället och det är något vi använder oss av varje dag. Men det är skillnad på att koda av orden och förstå vad man läser. Läsförståelse är något av det viktigaste skolan lär ut (Herrlin & Lundberg, 2005). Jag har valt ämnet för att få kunskaper och insikter om läsförståelse.\nSYFTE:\nSyftet med studien är att undersöka hur åtta lärare i år 1-6 beskriver sin undervisning med läsförståelse.\nMETOD:\nDen valda metoden är en kvalitativ intervjustudie.\nRESULTAT:\nLärarna i studien är eniga om att läsförståelse definieras genom att den som läser förstår texten, på olika nivåer. Läsförståelse är viktigt för livet och för elevernas framtida skolgång. Arbetet sker främst genom att eleverna får svara på frågor om en text, muntligt eller skriftligt. Läsförståelse ses som en del av alla ämnen.
