Abstract
Prawn is a kind of seafood with high protein content,good quality,and high consumption preferences.The prawn-farming industry is prospect.The prawn market was traced and investigated to analyze the characteristics of production,international and consumption market statistically.And the suggestions on development of Chinese prawn market were put forward as following: From the view of production,international and consumption market,Chinese prawn in the international market should avoid low prices caused by vicious competition and disorderly competition.Meanwhile,in order to reduce the reliance on major export markets,the excessive concentration of export markets should actively explore new consumer markets.In addition to consolidating and enhancing traditional market share in United States,European Union,Japan and so on,greater potential export market should be opened in the future,such as the Middle East,Russia,Australia,Canada,ASEAN and South America.And the domestic market also should be paid attention to develop.
