Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The degenerate parabolic equation ut + [u 3 (u + u − sin)] = 0, 2 R/(2Z) models the evolution of a thin liquid film on a stationary hori zontal cylinder. The equation defines a generalized gradient flow for an energy that controls the H 1 -norm. It is shown here that for each given mass there is a unique steady state, given by a droplet hanging from the bottom of the cylinder that meets the dry region at the top with zero contact angle. The droplet minimizes the energy and attracts all strong solutions that satisfy certa in energy and entropy inequalities. The distance of any solution from the steady state decays no faster than a power law.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
