Abstract
Planning for social inclusion is the lens used here to compare the work of planners implementing metropolitan\nplans in Glasgow, Melbourne and Toronto. The planners were in interviewed in 2005/6. This was a time when\ntriple-bottom planning was part of the planning lexicon: when social considerations should be given equal\nweight to economic and environmental considerations in planning work.
