Abstract
La Federación Mundial de Periodistas Científicos (World Federation of Science Journalists, WFSJ) celebró en la ciudad canadiense de Montreal su cuarto congreso (WCSJ 2004) del 4 al 8 de octubre de 2004. El programa del congreso se estructuró en cuatro áreas principales y, además de sesiones teóricas con científicos canadienses, los congresistas pudieron realizar visitas a algunos de los centros donde se realiza la investigación que les habían contado. El periodismo científico de países en vías de desarrollo estuvo muy bien representado en el WCSJ 2004, al que asistieron comunicadores de más de 60 países.
