Abstract
Le texte présenté ici se propose de discuter des rapports entre l’élaboration des territoires issus de coordinations d’acteurs et la ressource environnementale. Cette dernière n’est pas réduite à l’état d’une contrainte voire d’une variable exogène à gérer par des politiques publiques globalisantes, mais au contraire, elle est constitutive de la construction territoriale. Cette importance de la variable endogène environnementale est datée historiquement puisqu’elle correspond à la période post-fordiste de redistribution profonde de la division internationale du travail et des productions dans un monde ou la qualité et la spécificité des productions deviennent essentielles. On s’appuiera sur deux exemples dans des milieux et des configurations différents : les Iles de la Reine Charlotte (Colombie Britannique, Canada) et Metaleurop (Noyelles-Godault, Nord de la France).
