Abstract
Tzvetan Todorov needs no introduction to the readers of Salmagundi. Indeed, not only has he been a very prominent figure in the humanities for the past four decades, but he also regularly contributes a column to the journal where he mostly investigates social issues and current political events from a moral point of view. The motivation at the origin of this interview was to provide an overview of a body of work which, although accessible, is always variable and unpredictable.
