Abstract
Résumé La filiation est une des composantes principales de l’identité juridique. Par là, elle conditionne l’accès de l’enfant à plusieurs droits fondamentaux de la personne, ainsi que l’attribution de l’autorité parentale aux père et mère. Son contentieux, qui est massivement celui de la filiation paternelle, est porté devant le tribunal de grande instance. Les actions judiciaires relatives à la filiation sont soumises à des modalités particulièrement restrictives. L’expertise génétique permet de trancher les conflits de filiation et de restituer la vérité généalogique avec une certitude quasi entière. Mais la filiation ne se réduit pas à son critère biologique.
